A great initiative is taken by our government, regarding banning of Chinese apps. 1# Here is the list of banned 59 chinese apps… These chinese apps were gathering personal data of users and sending them to the servers located outside India, so due to privacy and security concerns these apps are banned. 2# Here if the official press release by IT Department of GOI. Also recently Apple’s latest iOS 14 beta version has caught tiktok stealing data from iPhone’s tiktok app by copying data from users clipboard every few seconds without knowledge and permission of users. 3# Replying in defence of the ban, tiktok tweeted that they are complying with Indian laws and has never stole any user data and has never sent it to chinese government.
